County (pronounced LOUD-un) is located 25 miles from Washington and covers 517 square miles. The last census established Loudoun County as the fastest growing county in the nation with about 247,300 people.It is also the wealthiest jurisdiction in the nation with a median household income of more than $98,000.Its neighbor, Fairfax County is next at $94,610.

Bordered by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Potomac River, Loudoun is known for its rich history and beautiful scenery.Located 35 miles west of Washington, DC, the Town of Leesburg is the county seat of Just a few miles further west, Middleburg is known as the capital of Virginia's Hunt Country.Middleburg is also home to many fine inns, shops and restaurants.
